Does this fit both 2015-2017 and 2018-2023 Mustangs?
YES, but with TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS. We manufacture two separate hood molds: (1) Version for 2015-2017 pre-facelift with specific mounting positions for early S550, and (2) Version for 2018-2023 facelift with different mounting positions for refreshed S550. Both versions look identical externally but have different hinge and latch mounting points. You MUST specify your exact year when ordering to receive the correct version.
Does this use my factory hinges and latch?
Yes. Direct OEM replacement using your existing hood hinges, latch mechanism, and mounting points. No modification to car required.
Do I need hood pins?
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED, especially for track use or high-speed driving. Lightweight carbon hood benefits from extra security. Not required for street-only use with properly functioning factory latch.
How long does installation take and is there an installation manual?
With two experienced mechanics, installation usually takes about 1-2 hours. And since fitment is mostly plug-and-play, we don’t provide a manual. If your body shop needs help, we offer free installation support.
Can I install this myself?
While experienced enthusiasts can install add-on lip components, professional installation is recommended for optimal alignment, proper adhesive application, and best results—especially for grille replacement.
